The call came in the middle of the week.
“My IT guy just quit and walked out. Our Email hasn’t been working right. Can you come take a look?”
What we found was a Microsoft Exchange Server on its last legs. Since it was Exchange 2003, the decision was made to quickly move to Accio’s Hosted Microsoft Exchange. Within 24 hours the Email was migrated and the company’s 25 users were off of the old Exchange Server.
Good thing. The old Exchange Server gave up the ghost right after the cut-cover. We also found out the data back-ups were in a mess.
There was a reason the IT guy quit in a rush.
Rather than replace the IT person, Accio took over the IT support.
The result?
Bottom line: the customer had a one time savings of around $7,000 and an on-going annual savings of around $24,000.
